Every day we get closer to Snezhnaya, and the reveal of all the Harbingers, including Genshin Impact’s Arlecchino. Though she hasn’t shown up in the game yet, we have some clues as to who she is and what she gets up to as part of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers thanks to Genshin’s trailers.

When will Genshin Impact’s Arlecchino be playable?
In all likelihood, most of the Fatui Harbingers will end up being playable, including Arlecchino – especially since she’s a normal-statured human, unlike Marionette and Pulcinella. There are currently no clues as to when this might be, though given her appearance in the Fontaine trailer, we could see Arlecchino release in the 4.0 patches.
Who is Genshin Impact Arlecchino?
Arlecchino is one of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers hailing from Snezhnaya, that work for the Tsaritsa. She’s known as The Knave and is likely the tenth Harbinger – though this is currently unconfirmed.
Arlecchino appears as a female character, with short blonde hair featuring a black streak. Comparisons have been drawn between her and Genshin Impact Eula due to their hairstyle and color palettes.
We currently have two voice lines about her in the game, coming from Genshin Impact’s Tartaglia and Genshin Impact’s Wanderer. In essence, Tartaglia assumes she ‘has her own agenda’, but he’s not a fan of her. He mentions she isn’t very sane and would betray others if a benefit for her was on the table. Wanderer, on the other hand, quotes that she is a “wolf in sheep’s clothing”, and she wants more power over others. He also insinuates that she is perhaps crazy.
Since it’s apparently known that she would defy the Tsaritsa for her own gain, this may hint as to how we meet her in the story, or how she becomes a playable member of our roster in the future, as both the playable Harbingers we currently have, have had a sort of redemption before joining us.
In terms of what the character in the Commedia Del’arte signifies, the Harlequin (or Arlecchino), is often trying to foil plans for their own gain – this usually includes their love interest Columbina, and facing off against Pierrot. What this means for the Genshin story is still unclear; perhaps Columbina will work together with Arlecchino to bring down Pierro or stay out of the way completely. Either way, this matches up with Tartaglia’s view of Arlecchino and her eagerness to swap sides to get what she wants.
Currently, not a lot is known about her story or her background, other than she’s involved with the House of the Hearth orphanage in Snezhnaya. This has been mentioned in Genshin, as some who grew up there were sent to infiltrate Inazuma. These were the children that showed ‘potential’ and were enlisted into the Fatui. We do not know what happens to those who do not show potential. The children that grow up in the orphanage are known as Snezhevich and Snezhevna, which translates to Son and Daughter of Snow.
Who are Genshin Impact Arlecchino’s voice actors?
In English, Arlecchino is played by Erin Yvette, and in Japanese, by Nanako Mori. Her Chinese voice actor is currently unknown.
