The game’s structure is like a cross between Genshin Impact and Disgaea, allowing players to collect a cast of extravagant characters through gacha mechanics. The game’s story centres around a struggle between light and darkness, as six factions vie for control in a fantastical world. Aurorians and Caelestites have coexisted peacefully in the land of Astra for hundreds of years, until dark creatures known as Eclipsites descended on the world causing destruction and havoc. As players explore this unique 2D world, they’ll encounter a varied cast of characters, who will shape the fate of the world around them as they fight off this nefarious threat.
The game has already built up a huge following of dedicated players embarking on quests and experiencing the thrilling storyline and now it’s celebrating its one-and-a-half-year anniversary with heaps of new content.
One such quest is Starry Adventure: Heaven-Shaking Melody, a limited-time quest that awards exclusive items just for participating. Tackle the Dreamy Nostalgia difficulty version of these special quests to receive Special Star Flares and Lumamber.
There will also be new Aurorians to add to your roster. In addition to the idol Goldie, you can also add new heroes Vic and Brandy to your team. The Lucky Stars Recruitment Banner guarantees a five-star from the first 10 recruitments, so get ready to add some star power to your roster.
Embark on a Starry Adventure
The anniversary update is all about idols – for the uninitiated, idols are essentially pop stars that have a distinctive style and personality all their own. They are characterised by cute, fabulous outfits and upbeat, inspirational music. Alchemy Stars fuses this vibrant subculture with fantasy adventure in an irresistibly enjoyable package.
As part of the event, you’ll take on the role of a navigator at Starlit Agency, where you will be responsible for training and managing the career of the new idol, Goldie. In this role, you’ll design training plans, improve her idol abilities, organise idol activities to grow her fanbase, and eventually host a concert when you’ve gained enough fans. It won’t all be fun and games, however! You’ll also have to deal with the paparazzi and make sure that fans see the show they deserve. Fail and you might have to deal with some disgruntled fanboys, and no one wants that.
Players will have no shortage of activities to participate in throughout the event, as several limited-time quests arrive. Players can obtain special event rewards like Lumamber and the Solamber (essential for crafting), as well as free recruitments to build up their roster of heroes.
Event details
The event is on now and runs until January 12, 2023. New content will be released throughout the event, so make sure you keep logging in to avoid missing out.
