There’s a new set of cards coming to the world of the Witcher card game, with the Gwent Claw and Dagger expansion set to arrive later this month. It’s the first new card drop of 2023, so much of the Gwent community is eagerly anticipating the set of 24 arriving on April 13 to expand the current roster and meta deck options.
With four new cards for each faction across the new entries, the set of 24 soon-to-be arriving in the game leaves no archetype untouched. Gwent: The Witcher Card Game developer CD Projekt Red announced some of the new cards in a developer stream at the beginning of April, teasing two of the new arrivals.
Right now, we only know the two cards from the reveal, Sigismund Dijkstra and Redanian Agent, while the rest are set for independent reveals in the build-up to release. Sigismund is a human/agent/aristocrat and a member of the Northern Realms faction, with an effect that benefits boosted cards in your deck and on the field of play. Redanian agent is a fellow human/agent for the Northern Realms who also employs a boosting effect, with the addition of the veil status.
