What is the next Pokémon Go Community Day?
Niantic has confirmed that Squirtle features in the next Pokémon Go Community Day Classic, a rerun of the original Community Day as connection issues stopped many players from accessing their accounts. This means if you gather up enough candy you can also obtain a Wartortle and Blastoise to fill in your Pokédex too.
When is the next Pokémon Go Community Day?
The next Community Day Classic is on July 23 from 14:00 to 17:00 local time. Make sure you save the following dates in your calendar too, cause we know you don’t want to miss out on those shiny Pokémon!

What are the Pokémon Go Community Day event bonuses?
Here are all of the Pokémon Go Community Day bonuses you can expect:
- Evolve Wartortle during the event or up to five hours afterward to get a Blastoise that knows hydro cannon
- 1/4 egg hatch distance when you place an egg in an incubator during the event
- Incense and lure modules activated during the event last for three hours
- Take a snapshot during the event for a surprise encounter
When is the next regular Pokémon Go Community Day?
Niantic has confirmed that Poliwag is the focus of the next standard Pokémon Go Community Day. This event runs on Sunday, July 30, from 14:00 to 17:00 local time. Players can encounter a shiny Poliwag within this time. Plus, if you evolve Poliwag into Poliwhirl during the event or up to five hours afterward, it learns the featured attack counter. While if you evolve Poliwag into Politoed during the same period, it learns the featured attack ice beam.
