With just under a month to go until the event, we’re excited to share that the Digital Dragons Conference 2023 programme is out in full now. The games industry conference returns to Krakow, Poland this May for two jam-packed days of lectures and discussions.
Digital Dragons brings together nearly 120 experts from the games industry to discuss a range of issues separated into eight thematic tracks, from mobile gaming, to business and marketing, to art in games. Representatives from some of Poland’s biggest games companies like CD Projekt Red and Techland plan to share their knowledge alongside their colleagues from around the world.
Digital Dragons’ programme coordinator Maciej Sliwinski said, “It is extremely valuable that the developers of the best Polish games are involved in building the conference agenda. The audience is always thirsty for first-hand knowledge, from their own experience, and if it comes from working on the most famous titles – all the better for the listeners.”
If you’re interested in hearing from experts in Poland’s games industry in particular, you’ll be pleased to hear that their expertise is spread all throughout the conference programme. Quest Director at CD Projekt Red Paweł Sasko is running a session on constructing characters in The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077, and Senior Narrative Director at Flying Wild Hog Maria Borys-Piątkowska is sharing her insight on nonverbal narrative game design.
Head over to the Digital Dragons Conference website to check out the full programme for yourself. We’ll be attending the conference and reporting from the floor in a few weeks time, so keep your eyes peeled.
