There are heaps of different systems, trials, and challenges to explore on your trailblazing adventure, one of which is the Honkai Star Rail equilibrium level. You need to complete a trial to increase your equilibrium level in order to ascend your characters, improve your Trailblazer level, and more – plus, you get some pretty great goodies, so you should hop to it as quickly as possible.
Luckily, we’re here to help with a detailed guide on how to increase your HSR equilibrium level. Once you’ve done that, be sure to check out our Honkai Star Rail characters guide and Honkai Star Rail tier list to see how your team sizes up, and snag some freebies from our Honkai Star Rail codes.
What is Honkai Star Rail equilibrium?
Your equilibrium level is essentially your world level – it determines the difficulty of the enemies, and the rewards you get from their drops. In addition, certain tasks, upgrades, and more rely on your eligibility level. For example, you can’t ascend your characters or light cones past a certain threshold unless you’ve increased your eligibility level.
How do I increase my Honkai Star Rail equilibrium level?
You can raise your Honkai Star Rail equilibrium level by completing the Trial of the Equilibrium rift when you reach certain Trailblazer levels. As soon as you hit the corresponding Trailblazer level, a quest pops up for you to challenge the Trial of the Equilibrium Rift. Just track it to find the rift’s location.
Here are all the Honkai Star Rail equilibrium levels and what Trailblazer level you need to be at to challenge them.
- Equilibrium level one – Trailblazer level 20
- Equilibrium level two – Trailblazer level 30
- Equilibrium level three – Trailblazer level 40
- Equilibrium level four – Trailblazer level 50
- Equilibrium level five – Trailblazer level 60
- Equilibrium level six – Trailblazer level 70
When you enter the Trial of the Equilibrium, you must take on several powerful monsters in order to pass. Don’t worry if you don’t pass the first time – you can always go back in and try again after levelling up your characters or rearranging your team.
Upon completing the trial, you earn a haul of awesome rewards, and your world’s equilibrium level increases. Check out the video above to see a Trailblazer completing the first Trail of the Equilibrium during one of the betas, so you know what to expect before you dive in.
