Just because League of Legends: Wild Rift is the pocket-sized version of the MOBA doesn’t mean it can’t pack just as hard of a punch. The League of Legends: Wild Rift Fighting Spirit patch brings new skins, challenges, and a portion of the Riot Games Soul Fighter event.
Riot’s Soul Fighter summer event adds new game modes and cosmetics to a range of its games, and Wild Rift is no different. For the first month of the patch, you can experience Tag Duel, a new one-on-one combat mode made specifically for Wild Rift. Select three champions to face your opponent and seamlessly swap between them to chain combos previously only possible through team-based play.
What better way to test out the three champions joining Wild Rift this patch? The mobile version of League of Legends welcomes Nilah, Vladimir, and Hecarim as the freshest batch of playable champions to join the roster. Nilah also plays a special role in this patch’s narrative adventure, so keep an eye out for her. The Fighting Spirit patch also adds reworks for fan-favorite champions Janna and Annie.
This is the first patch to introduce two Wild Passes at once, each featuring a new skin – Dream Raider Thresh and Food Spirits Yuumi. The cosmetics don’t stop there, as Soul Fighter, Star Guardian, Mecha, and Pulsefire skins are coming for a bunch of your favorite champions.
When is the League of Legends: Wild Rift Fighting Spirit patch release date?
The Fighting Spirit patch, also known as patch 4.3, launches on July 18, 2023. The Soul Fighter event starts that very same day as well, so you can jump right into the action post-update.
