Mortal Kombat 1 takes up an estimated 32GB of space on Nintendo Switch, meaning most folks are going to need a micro SD card for Switch if they want to play. This comes after the news that Mortal Kombat 1’s file size is around 100GB for PC.
Considering that the base model Switch only has 32 GB of storage internally, this is a big game by Nintendo standards. For comparison, the new and massive Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom only takes up 16 GB, while Super Mario Odyssey is only around 6 GB.
We should, of course, say this is just an estimate. And given that it’s exactly 32 GB according to the eShop page, it’s possible this is just a placeholder. For the number to be the exact upper limit of a Switch is definitely a signal that we might see something different come release.
