The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is massive and lovely, though you may wonder if it’s too big for your free time, thus asking the question, ‘how long is Tears of the Kingdom?’ Well, you’ve come to the right place.
Head below for a breakdown of the different playstyles and how that may affect how long to beat TotK is for you. How long is Tears of the Kingdom?
Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom takes roughly 50-60 hours to complete for most people, according to players polled by HowLongToBeat. There are, of course, different playstyles, as shown below:
- Main story – 55 hours
- Main + extras – 82.5 hours
- Completionist – 175 hours
- All playstyles – 75 hours
It’s important to note that HowLongToBeat’s sample size is still quite small this soon after TotK’s release. For example, less than 100 people have given their playtime for the completionist category. This data is by no means completely accurate – but it’s the best data out there.
My own personal experience with Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom puts it at a 100-hour game for me – that includes a focus on main story and extras, but also a bit of messing around and having fun. I expect most people to see similar playtime as they find out how long Tears of the Kingdom is for them.
