The Societe immobiliere du Quebec (SIQ) is holding an open 2-stage competition involving the choice of a
design followed by an architectural proposal for the building of a cultural and
administrative complex in Montreal.
Members of the international architectural community who are licensed to practice architecture are eligible,
provided they have been a member of a recognized professional association in their country
for at least 5 years. Ten competitors whose design are chosen at the end of Stage 1 will each receive
a prize of CDN $25,000. Five shortlisted finalists will be asked to design an architectural
proposal and will each receive a lump sum of CDN $210,000 for the preparation and pre-
sentation of the proposal.
