On January 10th, the Grands Prix du Design will award about sixty prizes to the firms, projects and to the design and architecture professionals.
The Grands Prix du Design award is an annual contest designed to highlight the talent of Quebec designers and architects. It is a contemporary showcase of projects attesting to the talent of the design and architecture community in Quebec. The winning projects are published in the special edition of Intérieurs magazine, which is entirely dedicated to the contest. This edition is meant to be a real reference and promotional tool that will be launched on the evening of the Gala, at the Casino de Montréal.
For the 4th year, it will be at the Cabaret of the Casino de Montréal that the gala will take place from 6 p.m. The Casino de Montréal was the laureate of the Project of the Year of the 8th edition with its modernization executed by the companies: MENKES SHOONER DAGENAIS LETOURNEUX Architects and le Groupe PROVENCHER_ROY, Architecture et Design, with the collaboration for the restaurants of the firm BLAZYSGERARD. Following the awards ceremony, an After-Gala will await the guests for an evening under the sign of the creativity and festivities in the three central bars of the Casino.
Every year, this annual event is an opportunity to reward the talent of the design community in Québec, and this, whether it is residential, commercial, institutional, office or product design. Come join us alongside all of the most renowned designers in Québec, to celebrate excellence in Québec design in all its manifestations!
And the theme of the evening is Tropical Lush! A revitalizing and refreshing theme. The colour, Pantone Greenery, represents the greenery. It expresses the dynamism and the progressive aspect, which one finds in the fields of design and architecture. The 2019 Grands Prix du Design will be hosted by Herby Moreau.
