You can play Pokémon Scarlet and Violet multiplayer with up to four friends, the group of you catching Pokémon and hunting down resources. Better still, multiplayer is available from just over an hour into the game, so you don’t have to wait until the credits roll to invite some friends over.
How does Pokémon Scarlet and Violet multiplayer work?
To start a Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s multiplayer mode, you need to access the union circle function at each Pokecenter (it’s the yellow spot). Click on the yellow screen and there’s an option to play live with nearby friends in local mode or those further afield in online mode. Then, the game will register a link code, and you’re good to go!
