Nintendo has recently shared its job listings over at Nintendo Pictures, its production house for animated work relating to Nintendo IP. As explained in its recent financial results, its Mario movie plans are just the beginning of a wider expansion of Nintendo media, with hopes to expand its fanbase beyond Nintendo Switch users.
The tweet, in Japanese, mentions “hiring for various career positions related to the planning and production of animated videos”, when translated by DeepL (sadly, we don’t have an in-house translator!). You can browse the Nintendo Pictures careers page for yourself if you think you’re up for a role.
The full tweet reads, “Nintendo Pictures Corporation, a Nintendo Group company, plans and produces visual images utilizing Nintendo IP. We are currently hiring for various career positions related to the planning and production of animated videos. If you are interested in creating visual images for the enjoyment of customers around the world, please apply.”
