Wahoo! A sneaky leak may have given a peak into a new Mario Nintendo Switch bundle filled with goodies, potentially coming this March to European retailers. Release day is fittingly tabbed as March 10, 2023 – Mario day.
This is not confirmed information, so take it with a pinch of salt, but notable Twitter account @billbil_kun known for showing off upcoming gaming products and tech deals posted the Switch bundle with some details.
Allegedly, the bundle will include the Mario-themed Switch model released in 2022 and a digital copy of Super Mario Odyssey. On top of this, there is something related to the Super Mario movie in the bundle too, though there aren’t any hints as to what this may be just yet. A poster? A steel book? Perhaps a plush of Chris Pratt’s Mario?
It’s unlikely that the bundle coincides with a Super Mario Odyssey 2 release date as this is something completely unconfirmed, but we’re remaining hopeful for better or for worse. Given that we did just see a Nintendo Direct with no Mario news, it doesn’t seem likely, though.
The supposed Mario Switch bundle is likely to cost around 270€ in France, though this could be inaccurate. For now, we’ll need to hold tight until March 10th in order to see what does or does not come to fruition.
