You can get the paraglider in Tears of the Kingdom by following the main questline, though you have to see it through to a certain point, so don’t go running away to explore as soon as you land on Hyrule! Here’s how to get TotK’s paraglider:
- Complete the Great Sky Island
- Head to Lookout Landing
- Follow the main quest markers and speak to Purah
- Continue “Crysis at Hyrule Castle”, the main quest
- After talking to Haz, return to Purah by Lookout Landing’s tower
- She will give you the paraglider!

Using the paraglider in Tears of the Kingdom is super easy – just press X while in the air. You can jump off a mountain, launch in the air from one of the many Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom towers, or find an updraft and fly upwards, all just pressing X!
