If you love the music of Poncle’s BAFTA-winning mobile title, you’re going to want to check out the orchestral recording with the Budapest Scoring Orchestra arriving alongside the latest Vampire Survivors patch. With the clip detailing the recording of the score for the Tides of Foscari DLC, we already can’t wait to hear future renditions of some of our favorite Vampire Survivors jams. We just wish all vampire games had such a solid soundtrack.
If you don’t know, this isn’t the prestigious Budapest Scoring Orchestra’s first rodeo. The 56-piece group has worked on other popular games like Injustice 2 and Total War: Warhammer, while also providing scores for a couple of cinematic masterpieces in Get Out and Parasite.
Not only is the lush orchestral recording now available to pick up, but the patch provides some in-game updates for Vampire Survivors too. You can now reset your save file – why you would want to is beyond me, but go off Poncle – and check out detailed maps for Mt.Moonspell and Lake Foscari, the two DLC maps arriving since launch. Oh, and you can now seal the Chaos Malachite relic, so Mortaccio doesn’t morph into something traumatizing at level 80.
You can check out the Vampire Survivors orchestral recording from the Budapest Scoring Orchestra in the clip below. The full soundtrack is also available on Steam, with future DLC content updates including a free copy of the soundtrack for you to jam out to even when you’re not playing Poncle’s monster hit.
There you have it, all you need to know about the release of the Vampire Survivors orchestral recording.
