You can access Pokémon Scarlet and Violet picnics via the pause menu once you’ve progressed past the intro and to the lighthouse, this takes approximately 60-90 minutes.
How do I receive eggs during Pokémon Scarlet and Violet picnics?
If you want to try your hand at Pokémon Scarlet and Violet breeding you must have two Pokémon in your party from the same egg group and, of course, ensure they’re each a different gender (unless you happen to have a Ditto, this lil blob can breed with anyone they choose). The eggs will stack in your basket and you can collect them anytime. They’ll fill empty slots in your party and then transfer to your boxes when you run out of room.
