If you’re a fan of Amazon’s animated superhero series, then we’ve got good news. Invincible: Guarding the Globe pre-registration is now open, with Ubisoft bringing the world of Robert Kirkman’s twisted heroes to life. If you know much about the series, you know this expletive-filled franchise is a world away from what you might expect from DC or Marvel games, with the trope-bending world of Invincible offering an alternative to the usual super-powered fare.
While rumors have been circulating about an Invincible game for a while, it’s now official that we’re getting a game starring the titular hero in a battle to save the world – classic. As a squad-based free-to-play RPG, Invincible: Guarding the Globe includes several heroes from the first series of the show. There’s scope for more to arrive when the second series launches on Amazon later in 2023, too.
It’s not clear who stars as the big bad in Invincible: Guarding the Globe as there’s no sign of any recognizable villains in the trailer. What we do see are copycat versions of some of the heroes, including Monster Girl and Atom Eve, leading us to believe that the villain at the heart of this story has cloning powers. Still, hopefully, we get to find out the true culprit before too long.
