Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s Pyper is just one of many interesting characters that live in the lands of Hyrule, though it’s quite easy to miss your encounter with this flutist. Well, luckily for you, I continue to travel far and wide as I attempt to save Hyrule (and Zelda) again, and it just so happens that I know exactly where to find this little firestarter.
However, before you set out to find Pyper, you might need a helping hand in other ways, too, in which case our Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom great fairy locations, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom horses, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Hestu locations, and Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom shrine locations guides might come in handy. We also have a Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Amiibo article, just in case you want to add some more figurines to your collection and get some in-game goodies while you’re at it.
Anyway, without further ado, here’s what you need to know about Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s Pyper.
Where can I find Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s Pyper?
Pyper awaits you at the Highland Stable (check out our Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom stable locations for more information), though there’s a bit more to it. You can’t just show up and meet him. Instead, upon your arrival, the stable’s proprietor tells you about how Pyper set fire to a tree – we all have bad days, so I’m not going to judge him yet – and ran away.
To find Pyper, you need to leave the tent and take a little walk north toward a large tree trunk. He’s stood atop the trunk. After you speak to him, the lad explains that he wants to put on a show for Haite, a girl that lives nearby. Yes, this is how he inadvertently sets fire to a tree. Ah, young love.
Anyway, Pyper isn’t going to climb down from the trunk until you help him put on a show for Haite, so he asks you to find him ten sunset fireflies (Kakariko Village is a great place to find them) and then bring Haite to him. That’s it. He puts on a great show and is ready to return to civilization once more.
That’s it, everything you need to know about how to find Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s Pyper. Once you finish his quest, you might want to go on another adventure, so make sure you read our Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom armor guide to gear yourself up. Maybe peruse our Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom recipe book to make some great meals, too.
