How do I catch Pokémon Go’s Regieleki?
Currently, Pokémon Go Regieleki is only available through elite raids. These raids must be battled in person and you cannot use remote raid passes. Once you gather a raiding party, reach the location, and successfully battle Regieleki, you have a chance to catch the electric-type legendary.
What is the Pokémon Go Regieleki raid schedule?
Pokémon Go Regieleki last appeared in elite raids on the following dates:
- Sunday, April 9, 2023, at 11:00 local time
- Sunday, April 9, 2023, at 14:00 local time
- Sunday, April 9, 2023, at 17:00 local time
During these raids timed research was also available and completing the tasks lets you earn Regirock candy, Regice candy, and Registeel candy. Be sure to check out our Pokémon Go raid schedule guide for more.
Can I catch shiny Pokémon Go Regieleki?
Currently, you cannot catch a shiny version of Regieleki in Pokémon Go. When you encounter one in elite raids, that Pokémon is shiny locked, so a shiny version can’t appear no matter how many raids you complete. Hopefully, Niantic may introduce a shiny version in the future.

Pokémon Go Regieleki counters
Alright, trainers, elite raids are tough, so catching Regieleki is going to take some work. First of all, we recommend a battling party of at least six, maybe five at a push depending on your level and your Pokémon’s cp. Next, Regieleki is (naturally) an electric-type, so ground-type Pokémon are your best bets. Here are some ‘mons we recommend as Pokémon Go Regieleki counters.
