If you’re after a new scare on the Switch, you’ve not got long to wait before The Tartarus Key release date. This game from developer Vertical Reach and publisher Armor Games Studios are inspired by horror classics from the original PlayStation genre.
The Tartarus Key follows Alex as she wakes up in a murder-filled mansion with no recollection of how she got there. A stranger’s voice crackles through a walkie-talkie and cameras follow her every move as she navigates the nightmare to find out who – or what – brought her there.
This first-person narrative game puts you in Alex’s shoes, fighting for your life through traps, puzzles, and a mansion full of secrets. You meet other captives who also have no idea how they arrived in the mansion, and must work together to ensure your survival.
