Riot Forge has revealed The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story Switch release date and dropped a new trailer for the gritty indie pixel action RPG from the world of Runeterra. We’ve also been given release date windows for two other League of Legends stories coming to the Switch later this year.
The Mageseeker lets you play as Sylas, an escaped mage with a quest for vengeance, as he fights against the kingdom of Demacia’s campaign to value some forms of magic above others. You use Sylas’ power to lead a revolution in this story of power, identity, and justice.
Riot Forge has also announced that two other indie games set in Runeterra are launching on Nintendo Switch and other consoles later this year. Convergence is a single-player 2D time-controlling platformer that is set to release this summer, and Song of Nunu is an adventure game focusing on two of League’s beloved champions as they search for their long-lost family.
When is The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story Switch release date?
The Mageseeker comes to Nintendo Switch, PC, and other consoles on April 18, 2023.
For League of Legends superfans there’s also a physical collector’s edition available on the Riot Games website for $169.99/€179.99. The bundle includes a code for the deluxe edition of the game, a Sylas statue, an art book, two enamel pins, an exclusive ten-inch vinyl OST, a deluxe art print, and a hardcover copy of the Lux comic.
