It’s time to call up Ryu, Ken, Zangief, and the rest of the gang, as there’s a Street Fighter title coming to mobile courtesy of Crunchyroll Games. That’s right, the anime streaming giant has revealed Street Fighter: Duel, the first mobile RPG from the series, and the latest in a series of Crunchyroll Games published titles.
With over 40 series characters to collect, plenty of teams to face down in 3v3 battles, and a choice between RPG or idle gameplay, this exciting new title is hoping to bring all the fun and fast-paced action of Street Fighter to mobile. Even better still, Street Fighter: Duel is set to arrive as a free-to-play title.
It’s hardly a surprise to see Crunchyroll coming out with a Street Fighter title, with the anime giant increasingly looking to pick up a piece of the mobile gaming market. Surely, the brand power of Street Fighter is set to get players flocking in droves to try the title out, so we’re hoping it manages to intuitively reimagine the classic fighting gameplay for a mobile RPG.
