Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat’s release date looks to have been quietly revealed via the mobile game’s iOS and Android app store pages (as reported by TouchArcade). Capcom announced a 2023 release window for the game, but it looks like that’s narrowed down now, though it’s not like we can work out if it’s one of the best mobile games anytime soon.
We don’t know all that much yet, beyond the trailer below and the app store listings. This new DMC mobile game is set to feature motion capture technology to produce battle animations, while classic characters and weapons are set to feature through a brand new storyline.
Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat is actually developed by NebulaJoy in collaboration with Capcom, so it’s not an in-house project. Still, don’t expect it to stray to far from the formula, as it promises to retain “gorgeous, unconstrained fighting style” of the mainline games.
