The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is still showing strong sales in the UK, with the game topping the boxed charts almost two months after its Nintendo Switch release. With big names like FIFA 23, Final Fantasy 16, and Diablo 4 to compete with, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom sales mean it’s clearly the biggest of the new Switch games this year.
As reported by GamesIndustry.biz, Tears of the Kingdom saw a 20% drop in sales week-on-week, yet still held onto the number-one spot. The game spent four weeks at the top after its launch, with Diablo 4 dethroning it for its launch week, and the same for FF16. Both, however, switched places with TotK the week after.
The only new entry in the boxed charts came in at number 22, The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie. Meanwhile, FIFA 23 saw a 30% increase in sales at number two and Metroid Prime came in at number 13 with a 222% increase. Both had retail promos in the UK.
With Pikmin 4’s release date just around the corner, perhaps we’ll see it take the number-one spot. Check out our Pikmin 4 preview to see if it’s likely or the latest trailer below.
