The Zelda series has a habit of making quests a bit too open-ended, this issue can multiply in a giant open-world game, so in this guide, we help you solve the mystery of the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom six dragons quest with everything you need to complete the mission and gain its subsequent rewards.
But alas, before we head into the depths of this guide, it might be a good idea to take a look at our Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom stable locations, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Pyper, and Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom armor location guides.
Anyway, let’s solve the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom six dragons quest.
Before you head to Typhlo Ruins, you need to acquire Prince, or should I say King Sidon’s power of the Sage of Water ability. I’m so proud of our fish buddy. To get his ability, you have to help Sidon clean up his kingdom by completing the water temple quest, starting from Zora’s domain and heading up to the sky. If you’re looking to power up Sidon or any of Link’s brothers-in-arms, check out our Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom sage’s will guide.
First, you have to find the six dragons quest. Again, remember to complete the Water Temple before coming here; otherwise, you won’t be able to complete the quest. Next to the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview tower at the north point of the map past Hyrule Forest, you find a character called Kazul. Talking to him kickstarts the six dragons quest. Be sure to check out our Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom towers guide if you’re having trouble finding them.
After talking to Kazul, read a nearby slab with some text on it to receive a clue, noting to use the “power of water” and refer back to him. Though this may stump Kazul, we know this is referencing Sidon’s Sage ability. So let’s set off to find the six dragons.
From there, head to the exact location of the six dragons, which are at these coordinates: 0186, 3181, and 0174 precisely. Make sure to summon Sidon from the key items menu and unleash a charged attack while using his water bubble attack close to the dragon head statues. This activates a quick cutscene, revealing a treasure chest, and Tingle’s your uncle, the quest is completed!
The quest rewards you with a whopping five opals, which you can fuse to a magic rod for a stick that spews water.
In summary, here’s how to complete the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom six dragons quest:
- Complete the Water Temple and unlock Sidon’s sage ability
- Talk to Kazul in Thyphlo Ruins next to the Skyview Tower
- Head to coordinates: 0187, 3182, 0172
- Use a charged attack with Sidon’s ability near the dragon head statues
- Open the treasure chest
