Lara fans rise up, the Tomb Raider Switch release date is finally upon us as the Lara Croft Collection now has a firm release date. Ms Croft and her famous antics have had somewhat of a resurgence recently with a PowerWash Simulator DLC and mobile game releasing within a matter of weeks.
Could this portend more Tomb Raider games coming to the Nintendo Switch? We hope so. All I want in life is to be able to lock a butler in a freezer again – is that so much to ask? While we await more news, check out our speculation for Sims Nintendo Switch games, a Final Fantasy 7 Remake Switch release, and a Diablo 4 Switch release.
When is the Lara Croft Collection release date?
Feral Interactive and Crystal Dynamics are finally releasing the Lara Croft Collection – containing Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris – for Nintendo Switch on June 29, 2023.
The two titles are included in one single package, and both feature action-packed gameplay, fun puzzles, and you’d better believe there are some tombs. The Lara Croft Collection costs $24.99/£19.99 and is available to pre-order on the Nintendo eShop today.
The two games are both cooperative spin-off titles that offer a great experience slightly differing from what we’re used to. You can get a glimpse with the launch trailer below.
Which Tomb Raider games are coming to Nintendo Switch?
Temple of Osiris and Guardian of Light are the two confirmed games that are heading to the handheld platform. Though with recent additions of GameBoy Advance titles to Nintendo Switch Online, we may get some older titles as well. For now, the GameBoy Colour title Tomb Raider: Curse of the Sword is available on Nintendo Switch Online.
