The Fire Emblem series is getting on in years, especially if you count the previously Japan-only titles dating back to the NES and SNES. Safe to say, some people are veterans and are ready to turn the title up to the highest difficulty, daring opposing units to have a swipe at their armies. Well, if that’s you, then you’ll want to learn about the Fire Emblem Engage trials to really put your units to work.
First of all though, if you’re looking for great Fire Emblem Engage guides, then you’ve definitely come to the right place. We have put together great articles covering Fire Emblem Engage rings, Fire Emblem Engage Emblems, Fire Emblem Engage endings, Fire Emblem Engage classes, Fire Emblem Engage amiibo, and the Fire Emblem Engage romance options.
Let’s dive into our full Fire Emblem Engage trials guide.
What are Fire Emblem Engage trials?
Similar to the Fire Emblem Engage arena, the Fire Emblem Engage trials are a series of tests that players tackle in between matches over at the Fire Emblem Engage Somniel. Unlike arena battles though, trials are full matches with one army of units versus another, and trials don’t offer experience when beaten. Instead, these tougher trials demand you win several full matches in succession and offer huge rewards depending on how long you last.
Where is the Fire Emblem Engage Tower of Trials?
You can find the Fire Emblem Engage Tower of Trials in the furthest corner of the Fire Emblem Engage Somniel, and the room leading to the trials is on the edge of a long path on a cliff edge.
What are the Fire Emblem Engage Tower of Trials rewards?
The rewards for the Tower of Trial change depending on the difficulty of the match, and how many matches you beat.
How do I make custom Fire Emblem Engage trial maps?
One of the most interesting elements of the Tower of Trials is the ability to create and share custom maps with your friends, to terrorise them or show off your tactical design tips. You can make maps by heading over to the Tower of Trials and choosing custom maps, and then share with others if you both have access to a Nintendo Switch Online account. Annoyingly, players can only share one map per account, so if you want to share a new one, you need to delete your old one.
Is there gameplay footage of the Fire Emblem Engage trials?
There’s footage of the Fire Emblem Engage trials in the overview trailer below, including a glimpse at different types of trails, as well as custom maps.
