Ready for its seventh successive year, the Summoners War World Arena Championships are back for 2023, bringing together the best players from across the planet to compete. With the world finals set to take place in Bangkok in November, first, there are many months of preliminary rounds to separate the magnificent Merlins from the mages of meh. Still, with it being one of the best mobile strategy games out there, we’re happy to watch plenty of games.
If you want to take part in the Summoners War World Arena Championships, you can register for the competition from now until June 19 on the official website. Those who make it through the initial online stages are set to pick up invites to the regional rounds, with North American-based participants making the trip to sunny Los Angeles on September 16 for the Americas Cup.
Considering there’s a prize pool worth over $214,000 on the line, we’re expecting only the top level of play by the time we arrive at the regionals cup stage with the Americas Cup. Still, with free attendance for spectators at the regional event, at least those of us who don’t make the cut can watch some incredible in-game action from some of the best in the business. It’s not quite a cash prize, but we’ll take it.
