Get ready to gear up and head out into battle, as the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championships are back for 2023 with a massive prize pot to hand out to winners. To mark the beginning of the competition, there’s a new season arriving in-game, too, with plenty for competing players to get involved in. Better still, there’s a $1.3 million prize pot, so it’s certainly worth taking a stab at it (or a shot, in this instance).
Both the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championships and the game’s fourth season, Veiled Uprising, are set to kick off on April 26 at 5 PM PT (or April 27 at 1 AM BST). As ever, the new season means a new season pass, with plenty of goodies for you to pick up as you take on the competition, including the new Shock Wave BR class and OTs 9 SMG, plus a bunch of weapon blueprints, calling cards, and other exciting rewards.
The first round of the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championships is open for all, with qualifying for later stages beginning on the same day as the new season. Those who successfully step up in the app are able to take part in regional qualifiers before a select few make it to the finals in North America later this year.
Following on from the first stage beginning on April 27, all eligible players who have 100 points or more from ranked matches get an invite to a second in-game round. Even if you’re not backing your chances of taking home part of the massive prize pot, there are plenty of in-game freebies up for registering to take part, including a new frame, weapon skin, and calling card.
