Caryn Brandon

My name is Caryn Brandon. I am the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of TouchUp, Inc. I am a graduate of California State University at Northridge and former accounting executive. I am also the mother of three wonderful young men who inspired me to create this revolutionary new organization, that I believe will serve to successfully impact the lives of many young people who deserve a second first chance. My oldest son is currently incarcerated in a California Men's Correctional facility. He, like so many young adults, will struggle to overcome the stigma of having taken a detour in his young life that will present obstacles some find impossible to overcome. I promise to devote every possible resource towards recharting their course.

In 1985 she returned to the classroom and soon earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Cal State Los Angeles. After receiving a full scholarship in 1990 to the graduate school in UT’s Dept. of Bilingual Education. She completed her graduate work through a fellowship in the Cooperative Superintendency Program (CSP) in 1994 with a doctorate in Educational Administration, while working full time as Program Director in the Division of Gifted Education at the Texas Education Agency.
